The South Precinct provides a full range of emergency-response and public safety services. This precinct is designed to help prevent crime and enforce the law in a manner that makes residents and visitors feel safe in their homes, schools, businesses, and neighborhoods of this community. Precinct personnel can respond to situations they view while patrolling the streets of Horry County, as well as work on solutions where there has been long-standing neighborhood concerns.
The South Precinct Office is currently located in the South Strand Complex at 9630 Scipio Lane, Suite G, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina 29588.

Horry County is in the process of constructing a new South Precinct building. This building will be located behind the South Strand Complex on Scipio Lane (off of Holmestown Road). Citizens will then be able to visit this facility to receive the same services currently available from the M. L. Brown Building in Conway.
