How You Can Help:
The Horry County Police Department appreciates help from the public in locating wanted individuals. Many of these suspects are committing other crimes while being a fugitive from justice. If you know the whereabouts of any suspects currently wanted by this or any other agency, please contact the Central Process Section Warrant Hotline at 843-915-5688 or County Dispatch at 843-248-1520 (after 5:00 P.M.). Your call can be made anonymously; however, it would be helpful if you left your name and a call back number where you can be reached in case additional information is needed.

Civil Process
The Central Process Section also serves many civil papers from our eight magistrates offices throughout Horry County. These papers include: Summons and Complaints, Counterclaims, Claim and Deliveries, Repossessions, Judicial Sales of unclaimed property, Evictions, Subpoenas, restraining orders and interpleaders. If you have any questions or further information regarding civil documents you may contact your local magistrate office Monday through Friday 8:00 A.M. – 4:30 P.M.

Probate Court / Mental Health Pickup Orders
Mental Health Pickup Orders are documents issued through the Probates Office requiring an officer to assist in bringing an individual who may be a risk of hurting themselves or others to a mental health facility (or a hospital after hours) to be evaluated by a doctor. Once evaluated, the individual may be placed in detention if ordered by the physician.
